Mr. Kevin Wallis has worked internationally in education for over twenty years as a Government Advisor in the Middle East, UK and Asia, Project Director, Senior Consultant, School Inspector, School Leader and Teacher. Mr. Kevin’s work has been focused on turning the rhetoric of ‘educational reform’ and ‘educational transformation’ into tangible and practical outcomes for all stakeholders.
In 2009, Mr. Kevin led the start-up of Taaleem-EdisonLearning and its first US$16 million contract, which in less than 12 months met 95% of Key Performance Indicators against a target of 80% to deliver sustainable improvements in student achievement in Abu Dhabi Schools. Mr. Kevin has developed national programs of educational leadership and teacher training for governments in the Middle East, designed to be delivered and followed up within the practical context of daily school life.
In the UK, Mr. Kevin led the development of Strategic Partnerships between local Governments and schools to deliver school improvement services, as well as provide educational leadership for the Government’s US$4.5 million research-based project to vision, design and implement new spaces in schools, leading to greater ‘Personalised Learning’.
In the earlier part of his career, Mr. Kevin was a Leader in one of the UK’s top ten outstanding government schools and spent 3 years working for the Japanese Ministry of Education to improve the quality of teaching in government schools.
Alongside his role as Academic Consultant and Board Member for Liwa Schools, Mr. Kevin also works as an education advisor in the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi.
Mr. Kevin has a first-class degree in Mathematics and Economics, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Cambridge and is a UK qualified school inspector.
