Ms. Penni Jones
Acting Principal
Ms. Penni Jones joins LISF with eight years of leadership experience in the UAE, including a VP role at LISG. She has served as an Academic Vice Principal and Principal at the K-12 level in the United States.
Ms. Penni has a Master’s Degree in Secondary English Education and a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership.
She looks forward to seeing students’ progress at LISF this academic school year. Her deepest educational belief is that all students are capable of excelling in their studies with a strong team of teachers and parents in place to support their success.
Ms. Melanie Haddy
Vice Principal (KG & Elementary)
Mrs. Melanie Haddy has five years of leadership experience in the UAE, having been Head of Primary in both Sharjah and Abu Dhabi before joining LISF. Previously her teaching career has spanned thirty-three years, with fourteen years as a Primary Headteacher/ Principal in the UK.
She has a bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Certificate, and Diploma in Education. Her Master’s Degree with special recommendation is in Educational Research.
Mrs. Melanie is dedicated to ensuring that every young person receives the most engaging and rewarding educational experience in a safe and secure environment so they can all reach their full potential.
Ms. Sanaa Tabet
Vice Principal (Middle & High School)
For over 15 years, Mrs. Sanaa Tabet has been working in the field of education within UAE schools. She took the responsibility of different teaching and leadership roles during her career.
Mrs. Sanaa has earned a BS in Applied Mathematics as well as a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and has always had a passion for education.
Mrs. Sanaa strongly believes that a great education is foundational to life success. At LISF, we aim to see our learners succeed and progress year after year, to graduate as holistically educated, highly skilled citizens.
Ms. Sandra Tichagwa
Vice Principal (E-learning)
Ms. Sandra has been working with technology in schools in various capacities from a teacher of technology to an integrator ensuring schools select and implement technology that really works. A passionate advocate for the use of technology in education, she believes this can be leveraged to truly transform learning.
Ms. Sandra has been involved in digital transformation in the UK and Middle East for close to 15 years, 10 of those working in education where she has worked in leadership with oversight over both academic and technical programmes. An early advocate for online learning, she was a part of the school’s digital transformation from inception and led its e-learning initiative from strategy to execution. She is constantly looking at how to leverage emerging technologies to further maximize opportunities for all stakeholders in our schools.
Ms. Amal Abou Ghaida
Assistant Vice Principal KG
Mrs. Amal Abou Ghaida has a professional background routed in education.For the past 15 years she has worked as a KG teacher in different schools in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain with the last 2 years as a KG leader.
Mrs. Amal has a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education in addition to a TS certificate in Nursing Studies.In addition to that she is an Author, she writes children’s stories and has 15 published books.
Ms. Amal looks forward to using her collective experience along with the professional team at LISF to build upon the success of our school. She believes that the quality of education a person receives in his early life is indispensable in bringing out that person’s potential and that every child deserves to have access to quality learning and care.
Ms. Nisrien Aly
Assistant Vice Principal of Elementary
Mrs. Nisrien Aly is an educator of 20 years with experience as a teacher and then a leader. She has extensive experience in the American curriculums and four years of middle leadership experience in the UAE.
Mrs. Nisrien holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Alexandria University in Arts and Education.
She is deeply passionate about ensuring the success and well-being of LISF students. Her main goal is to establish a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where all members of the school community feel valued and heard.
